Agmi has been based in Tegelen since 1947. In the initial years of its existence, Agmi produced bicycle bells, rear lights for bicycles and holy water fonts among other items. In 1950 we started producing and selling road signs and hazard triangles. The traffic world continued to change, and Agmi with it. After 1972 Agmi developed a range of light fittings. This aspect of the business continued to grow. Visual information systems and dynamic signposting have been the result.
Agmi now stands for: 'Smart and safe Systems for Traffic and Lighting around the world.' With its smart solutions for lighting and traffic, Agmi aims to make the world safer. We do this in the area of signs (road signs), signposting (from freeway to pedestrian footpath), aluminum support structures (for municipal, provincial and national roads) and lighting (for tunnels, data centers, drilling platforms and other locations where safety, energy consumption and low maintenance frequencies are important).
